Thank you for the totally useless comment. If you had bothered reading my post, you might have noticed that I said that I was having the same problem when the device was NOT jailbroken. However, one cannot expect people like you to be able to read.

My Uptime - 12 hours :p
Do you pay your electricity bill?
Also that is one sure way to fry your Mac. Power surge can happen at any time.. Do you really trust those $100 surge boards for 24/7 use or do you have UPS.
Also think of how much dust gets in there...
Not smart to leave your computer on 24/7.
My first Mac and first iMac... the 2006 Core Duo... left it on 24/7 unless I had to reboot due to updates or crashes.
But since I got my Mac Pro last year, I didn't need it on anymore. Funnily enough, the hardy iMac won't turn on anymore :p

Absolutely. If you're on AT&T's $25.00/month plan it will cost you and extra $20 in the months when you do that. AT&T has told me that if you've got one of the old $30/month unlimited data plans you can use the iPhone as a hotspot with no additional charge.
Thanks, I have a 6Gb data plan for $30/mth and my supplier [Rogers in Canada] wants $10 per month to let the iPad share it. I'm assuming if I go the wifi only iPad and use the Hotspot I won't pay any more....I think :)

This is not true. the ICE works with several after-market brands like Sony, Kenwood, Alpine, etc. If you had one of these in your car, and got a new one, you would merely have to move the radio to the new car.
True, but the problem I have is then my steering wheel controls would not work unless I go out and spend another $200 on a solution for that too, plus the cost of an aftermarket stereo. Gets really expensive really quick.
It probably is a little more complicated than just swapping out the cable, I bet the controller unit on the ICE-Link is programmed specifically for the car's factory head unit. Maybe the Monster one will be a little more flexible.

OJuice (http://www.ojuice.net/) is the authority on all things demo. Check out Nectarine (http://www.scenemusic.net/) for streaming scenemusic from the old legends and the new!
I am really looking forward to Renoise 1.5 final. I hope it takes them less time to release than between the last two releases. Looks really spiffy, though! Now if only it supported Audio Units...

I have been trying for three days to get a simple Servlet to work. Tomcat is working and displaying the work. I have created the blasted web.xml, .java, and .class files. All I get is HTTP 404 /Hi/ or /Hello/ could not be found. I hate Tomcat, I hate Java Servlets. If anyone can help please, please, please, I beg you, please help. Here is the java file:

Sorry, but I'll be checking in on the rumour sites during the show. delayed gratification is one thing, but, i won't be able to wait.
Well, I originally was supposed to go, but my travel buddy bailed out and now I can't go... i wanted to be there, but alas... it was too good to be true.
The next best thing is to watch the keynote 12+ hours later (and pretend it were live).

Last year, Engadget ran a (mostly) correct rumor about the 2G ATV.
http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/28/the-next-apple-tv-revealed-cloud-storage-and-iphone-os-on-tap/
In it, was this little nugget:
"For those still interested in keeping their content close, there will be an option to utilize a Time Capsule as an external storage component, but the main course will be all about streaming."
I've been waiting ever since for some sort of Time Capsule / iTunes Server.

Thanks all for your reply. I will invest in getting the D90 with 18-55 kit lens and see about getting the 55-200 lens :)
Also joepunk, I didn't mean long term investment as in the money wise more as hopefully I shouldn't have any problem with the camera failing on me for any reasons and I need it send it back to Nikon for fixing.
I saw the D40 but I know I shouldn't think about mega pixels so much, but with 6mp I'm kind of looking for something more than the current point and shoot I have with 7mp. I think I've kind of have my heart set on the D90 now.

Its gone sorry didn't know it was a bad thing to say.......
By definition it is not necessarily a bad thing, but unfortunately on blogs and forum threads it is used as a derogative comment.
Some around the web define it as: A fan, short for fanatic and sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with an intense, occasionally overwhelming liking and enthusiasm for a product. (ME!):))
....or Someone (normally male) who is utterly devoted to a single subject or hobby, often to the point where it is considered an obsession (again, ME!:o)

I have Simple Mobile service. I had been told to disable the 3G option on my iPhone 3gs. Now I have a new iPhone 4. With Gevey, can I now use the 3G enable? Will my phone work on 3G network? Thank you!
It should work fine with 3G on.

I don't know how much my head weighs. Can I break the screen? I can put the laptop in my backpack, its mesh and only has a padded back.
The screen can break at the :apple:-logo because the curve of your head might put point-pressure on it - unlike flat books that put pressure on the entire surface of the machine (more or less evenly).

Fred's thinking, "I stills gots me twelve mores."
Actually, it would be, "I stills gots me nine mores," because 3 others are also estranged.

I have a listing on ebay for my new iPod Shuffle, 1 GB. It is new, and this is a great price for anyone interested in the Shuffle. I will ship USPS Priority Mail for free also.
Here is the link to the ebay auction;
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5837007636
Also, only PayPal is accepted for this auction. I have a 100% feedback rating and score of 103, so you know I will take good care of you. I will ship out within 24 hours also.
It sold within 2 hours. I guess someone thought it was a great price.

 My son loves Pokemon and, since his birthday is at the end of April, I am thinking of getting him the new Pokemon DS games. I don't know jack about Pokemon. Is there a difference between Diamond and Pearl, or is the existance of multiple versions just a means of generating revenue?
